The Foodies Guide to Palm Desert
Palm Desert is a must add to your So-Cal list! From incredible places to stay, beautiful desert scenery, outdoor activities, a vibrant art and culture scene, world class shopping and of course some great restaurants, Palm Desert is an oasis to be found!
We spent the weekend exploring and enjoying our time in Palm Desert and have some great recommendations for you to try!
Where to Stay in Palm Desert
We were lucky enough to enjoy a weekend in this cozy desert oasis, designed by Sydney Holliday Interiors. The overall design reflects the perfect blend of modern and California casual. From the well equipped chefs kitchen, large couch, and wet bar, to their massive sliding glass doors leading to a golf course adjacent patio. This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo is the perfect place to enjoy with friends or loved ones!
The house itself has not been on the Airbnb market long. It’s beautifully remodled and incredibly clean, and it was probably one of the best airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. They’ve really thought of all the little things — including a firepit, grill, and close proximity to a variety of activities… its the perfect desert basecamp!
A huge proponent of staying at Airbnb’s for us is the “vibe” and this spot Is well matched for us! We love airbnbs that fit our style and how we vacation. The modern, airy, and spacious bedrooms are perfect, especially after a long day in the desert!
Overlooking the palm trees as the sun goes down is one of our favorite desert activities. Pair that with a cocktail or cold glass of wine, and you have a perfect night! The convenient and well stocked wet bar means you can whio up cocktails with all the tools, glasses and accruements you need!
This spot is situated on one of the many premier golf courses in the area. As you drive through the secure gate, you gain entry into a quiet and well maintained neighborhood where people enjoy peace and solitude!
So whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway for two, a house to share with friends, or even a family vacation — we highly recommend staying at the Casa De Vistas by Roav Retreats while you explore all the fun things there is to do in Palm Desert, CA!

Where to Eat: Koutouki Greek Estiatorio
Koutouki Greek Estiatorio is a family-run Greek restaurant offering an authentic Greek food and a lively atmosphere. From their casual vibe, entertaining atmosphere, and wide selection of authentic greek dishes, this was a hidden gem that surprised us deeply! We saw John Mayer while we were in town and had a fantastic time! Since only having 11,000 ish seats, its not as large as some. Making it a good spot for people who like to be up close and personal! There isn’t really a bad seat!
