Who else is EXCITED to see events coming back to San Diego?! We at @sdfoodies are so pumped to be out there with all of you enjoying food, wine, and live music! Well Blended Festival is one of the first to come back to SD and we wanted to tell you all about it! With a 100ft wine tent, live demos with award winning chefs, fun activities for all, and of course absolutely amazing live music with some of the biggest names around this is turning out to be one the best events to grace San Diego in years!
Live Music!
Like a fine wine, Blended’s talent line up is a curated blend, with something for everyone to enjoy. Main stage kicks off at 4pm on Friday, and 12pm Saturday. The format in earlier hours will feature local DJs and bands, setting the mood for a wine centric “day drinking” event. As the party progresses into evening hours, festival goers can expect live shows by some of the biggest names in Country, Pop, and EDM music. Blended’s line up compliments the overall Blended experience, with artist announced as they are booked.
Culinary Experience!
The culinary experience is one of our favorite highlights of Blended, featuring food truck row, and pop ups from favorite local restaurants. Additionally, Blended showcases local and nationally renowned chefs, performing high energy crowd demonstrations, and competitions live from our culinary stage.
Wine Experience!
The wine tent is the centerpiece of Blended Fest! Presented by My Wine Society, all ticket holders are given two complimentary tastings, with additional tastings available for purchase. The experience provides festival-goers the opportunity to try a vast number of varietals from many different wineries, both domestic and international. Celebrity sommelier Matthew Lauren will be present on site to educate, and answer all wine related questions throughout the weekend. Patrons are encouraged to download the MWS app to track their tastings digitally, as well as interacting with wine brands, and other festival attendees.
Wellness Lounge!
Wellness has made a huge footprint on our scene in recent years. Blended has partnered with When The Music Stops (WTMS.) a non-profit who works with todays biggest artists and industry professionals, normalizing mental health and burnout. WTMS. curates an exciting itinerary of workshops and activities throughout the day, featuring speakers, breath-work session, art therapy, exclusive meet and greets, and more. Festival goers can also take advantage of our lounges massage options, IV drip, water station, and nap pods.
