7 Mile Kitchen - Carlsbad
Celebrate Mom this year with 7 Mile Kitchen brand new Sunday brunch offerings. Mixing things up for the season, Chef Julian Quiñones has created a new brunch menu mom will be sure to love. New items include Short Rib Hash, Shrimp and Grits and Mushroom Avocado Toast – just to name a few. Chef’s artisanal wood-fired pizzas will also make their brunch debut. All moms will also receive a long stem rose upon arrival.

From delicious brunch options to-go, elegant flower arrangements and unique gifts, Gelson’s is your one-stop-shop for everything you need to have a memorable Mother’s Day and ensure mom feels pampered and appreciated.
Mouth-watering brunch options include Poached Salmon served with Artichoke Fennel and Prosciutto Salad; Crab Cakes with Pixie Tangerine Salad; Citrus Grilled Chicken with Greek Salad; Quiche Lorraine with Zesty Chicken and Arugula Salad; and Vegetable Quiche with Pixie Tangerine Salad. All options come in serving sizes for two people with sides of fresh fruit, a demi-baguette and Nutella chocolate bites.

Mister A’s - Bankers Hill
Treat mom to a three-course Mother’s Day brunch on the 12th floor of the iconic Mister A’s building. Always a Wine Spectator Magazine Excellence award-winner, Mister A’s is currently cellaring approximately 5,000 wines (one cellar is at the base of the Mister A’s building in what used to be a former bank vault). After you’ve cracked open a bottle of mom’s favorite French Burgundy, start with Executive Chef Stephane Voitzwinkler’s green asparagus with poached egg (maitake, sea salt, brioche), then progress to the Strauss Farm 16oz veal Osso Buco (orange lemon gremolata, rosemary polenta). Cap it off with a housemade sweet treat from Pastry Chef John Brockway: Strawberry Tarte: Crème Patissiere, Farmer’s Strawberries, Pistachio Ice Cream

Transport mom to the Italian seaside: Calabria + California = Calabrifornia. Sunday Brunch has officially returned to Civico by the Park, offering the city’s only “Calabrifornian” brunch menu both indoors and on their extensive covered outdoor patio. The Civico restaurants are the only in the city to serve authentic, Calabrian cuisine and their new brunch menu features a mash-up of American brunch standbys and the hallmarks of Calabrian breakfast favorites from Culinary Director and co-owner, Pietro Gallo.
Think: Pancakes Tiramisu with coffee tiramisu and Italian mascarpone foam, Frittata Tacos Gamberi with taco-style eggs frittata and shrimp in a Calabrian chili sauce, and Chef Pietro's dynamic tableside liquid nitrogen gelato — a showstopper addition to their homemade French Toast.
