Banana with Carmel and Brownie

From the Buona Forchetta Family comes Gelati & Peccati, a new walk up Roman-style pizza (pizza al taglio) and authentic Italian gelato spot in North Park opening fall 2019. The first collaboration from Buona Forchetta founder Matteo Cattaneo and longtime employees Luca Zamboni and Giovanni Bonomi, the 800-square-foot shop is inspired by the ubiquitous and beloved pizza stands and corner gelato shops found throughout Italy. Their menu focuses strictly on pizza al taglio and gelato and will be both an all-day and late-night destination, serving 40 kinds of square-shaped, crispy-yet-airy crusted slices daily alongside 18 flavors of gelato, in an indoor-outdoor space.

Guacamole Gelato

This gelato was one of the most unique ones I have EVER had. A Guacamole Gelato with a Sweet Tomato Sauce, and Crunchy Corn Chips. Now I know this sounds weird, but wow, Gelati & Peccati nailed it! The Avocado is super creamy and the tomato sauce has that familiar tomato flavor but in a way thats not off-putting. The corn chips add some texture to the super smooth gelato and all together it really does taste like guacamole, but in the best way possible!

Caprese Sandwich

Not to be out done by their sweet side, Gelati & Peccati are serving up delicious roman style pizza and sandwiches that are perfect for a quick bite or a lunch date! Take a look at the Caprese Sandwhich with Pesto and Roasted Eggplant! Their house-made dough is crunchy and soft and soaks up all the good olive oil!
